Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.  Up to 3 years of experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing electronics, electro-mechanical, telecom or computer equipment required preferable with gaming equipment and gaming system products (gaming equipment and gaming system products training will be provided).  A+ Certification, N+ Certification or similar preferred.  Must also have knowledge and experience in:

Reading and translating wiring diagrams

AC/DC fundamentals

Maintaining, repairing and troubleshooting to component/circuit level

Testing programs with verification devices such as Kobetron and Chip Comparator

Troubleshooting with input and output tests

Installing, repairing and maintaining fiber optic lines and WAP telephone lines

This position also requires the ability to lift 75 lbs, ability to travel, willingness to work varied shifts and overtime as required, pass the Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) check and have a valid state driver’s license and a clean driving record, and be able to obtain the necessary state, local and tribal gaming license(s).  Must also be able to pass a security background check and pass a for-cause and pre-employment drug test.

Training: Gaming equipment, gaming system products and gaming industry training will be provided.

Responsibilities:

The CS Field Technician I will prep, install, troubleshoot to the component/circuit level, service, maintain, upgrade and convert gaming systems and equipment, and document all services rendered using SAP and other software tools.  Make pre-installation site visits, while maintaining a positive image, to identify parts and wiring requirements at customer location and coordinate ordering of parts.  Deliver and install products on customer floor, set game options.  Install system and games to system telephonic, Ethernet and wireless (S2S).  Install game-to-game and bank-to-bank, telephonic, Ethernet and wireless (G2G).  Complete assigned portion of hardware and software conversions and upgrades and assigned preventative maintenance.  Responds to customer issues for games and systems interface.  Support software and system integration verification tests for jackpots.  Perform other duties as assigned.
